Jacob Janey is the pen name for Don Allen. The pseudonym comes from the combination of the middle names of his mother and best friend, both deceased.
Born and raised in New Mexico, Don has been a lucid dreamer his entire life. He has had a few out of body experiences on the cusps of some of those dreams. Those experiences are the foundation for the creation of the character Calle Rosyln and her dream trekking escapades.
Over the years, Don has worked as a guitar player, truck driver, math teacher, tire buster, house painter and a fishing guide. His greatest role is that of father and grandfather.
He lives in Bernalillo, New Mexico and plays golf as often as possible.
